Baseball On My Brain

It’s been a minute…

…since I’ve sat down to put something together for this site. And believe me, it’s not for lack of trying.

With the start of the regular season just over two weeks away, my attention has been focused on that most of my waking hours. I’ve also been busy putting together a column for the next issue of the Grand Salami magazine, which is going to be an extension of my other site, Baseball On My Brain. If you’re in Seattle, I hope you pick up a copy prior to a Mariners game and let me know what you think about it.

I’ve gone on record saying that the weeks right after the completion of the World Series are my least favorite – but I’m beginning to think that the weeks during Spring Training are getting close. Between rainy days in Seattle, the Mariners playing a couple hundred miles away, and all the work that goes into making the season happen, it’s certainly a time that’s full of stress and not much enjoyment. But once the season gets rolling, things should turn the corner and the roller coaster ride should really get going.

So there you go — a little something that’s been on my brain.
