I never promised that everything I write will be highly intellectual. But life isn’t always highly intellectual. Sometimes it’s emotional.

I spent most of today cleaning the house, particularly auditing my closet and wardrobe. It was long overdo – and at the end of the day I got a lot done.

However – there was a terse moment when I came across a collection of old, dingy, worn baseball caps. Now most people probably wouldn’t think twice about getting rid something as old as some of these caps. But they were baseball caps.

They sat on my head for games around the country, big games, meaningless games, high school to professional. They were part of my baseball history.

I ripped the bandage off and ended up tossing them out – but I’m still not sure that was the right move.

What do you think? What was something from your baseball history you either got rid of and regret, or are holding on to despite knowing better?
